Indian Untouchables: The Dalit Journey Abroad: The narratives, stories and personal myths related to the caste of Indian Untouchables now living in the United States.
The Dalits Abroad Research Project is Rick’s original research that served as the foundation for his doctoral dissertation in Modern Psychoanalysis at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, which sought to answer the question: How do conscious and unconscious psychological factors, including defensive processes, affect the experiences of members of the untouchable caste who emigrated from India to the United States?
